Mendoza Argentina Vineyard Description: Appellation Valle de Cafayate, Salta Argentina Harvest Begins in the middle of March and finishes at the end of April. Clusters are selected at the winery and sorted twice by hand. Altitude  5.740 ft. Winemaking characteristics Fermentation 10 days in stainless steel tanks. Barrel Ageing  

Urban Cabernet Sauvignon

2010, Cabernet Sauvignon – Maule Valley, Chile. Vineyard description: Appellation Maule Valley – Chile Soil Alluvial, free draining, silty loam. Cabernet from a 100 year- old vineyard, close to the Andes Mountains, densely planted, cane pruned and trellised. Limited flood irrigation, Winemaking characteristics: Harvest By hand, during May. Grapes selected at the winery. Maceration in stainless steel tanks, fermentation, between 8 days. Barrel ageing on average 3 months in used French oak barrels.  Filtration Unfined, filtered.  Awards & Mentions 87 points Wine Spectator

Urban Red Blend

2010, 50% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 30% Carignan, 20% Cabernet Franc – Maule Valley, Chile. Vineyard description: Appellation Maule Valley – Chile, Soils, free draining, sandy loams. Management Generally old vines (between 40 and 100 years), cane pruned. Very limited flood irrigation. Winemaking characteristics: Harvest by hand, during April. Grapes selected at the winery. Fermentation In stainless steel tanks.  Maceration, between 8 and 12 days.  Barrel ageing on average over 3 months in used French oak barrels.  Awards & Mentions 86 points Wine Spectator
