We have selected something a little different for this tasting.  We will be tasting Naked Apple Blackberry Gold and Naked Apple Wicked Peel, Hard Ciders.    They are Gluten Free, have no additives or Preservatives, and best of all they are made locally in Hendersonville NC.  Eric from Empire Distributors will be doing the pouring.

We are also tasting 2 new wines to the shop. Vigilance Sauvignon Blanc and Vigilance Cimarron ( a red blend)

Vigilance Sauvignon Blanc The grapes used to produce the 2010 Vigilance Sauvignon Blanc were picked from different blocks from the Red Hill Vineyard in Lake County.  Giving it several flavor and texture components to work with, the fruit was picked at different ripeness levels, stainless steel fermented to help retain the fresh citrus flavors.  Color: Clean, Light straw, Aroma: Fresh Melon, Lemon Grass and Citrus, Flavor: Melon, Grapefruit citrus, Texture: Nice depth and richness, zesty fresh.

Vigilance Cimarron The grapes used to produce the 2011 Vigilance Cimarron were picked from serveral growing areas of Lake County. Helping to create a multi-layered wine with a nice balance, great fruit and a long lush finish, the fruit is picked at the peak of ripeness, fermented in French and American oak for 14 months.  Color: Bright Purple Garnet, Aroma: Black Cherry, Blackberry Creamy Vanilla Oak, Flavor: Fipe Cherry, Dark Berry Spice, Texture: Rich and ripe with a lush balanced mouthful.
