Update from Burnsville Wine and…

We have a number of activities happening this week and into next week.  By popular demand, Brandon will be back for “Thirsty Thursday”, September 18, 4-6.  He has 3 beers he will be tasting.  He’s brought back the Nebraska Brown Nut Ale, (quite popular before).  We’ll also be tasting  Green Man Harvester from Asheville and Twisted Pine Brewing Co. Oak Whiskey Red, out of Colorado.  Hope you can join us.

Friday September 19,  4-7, Katie “the cheese lady” from the Cheese House in Asheville will be back with some of her fabulous cheeses.   We will be tasting a California Cabernet, Prosecco and North Carolina Chambourcin-Cynthiana Blend, from North Carolina’s Carolina Heritage Organic Winery.  Stop by, taste some of her cheeses and other goodies she has available. Flynn will be back for your musical enjoyment.

Tuesday September 23, 4-6, come by and meet Will from Tryon Distributors.  He  will be here with a selection of fall brews including Founder’s All Day IPA, Erdinger Oktoberfest, and Bell’s Best Brown Ale.  This is the first time I’ve had Erdinger and Bell’s Brown Ale in the shop.    It’s gonna be a great evening for tasting!

Make plans to join us for these special events.  The balloons will be flying!

A reminder we are collecting tips this month and offering concert tickets for a donation to the Yancey Back Pack Program.  This program sends backpacks of food home with children in need  on the weekend.  For every $1.00 you donate to the Yancey Back Pack program, you get a ticket to enter a drawing to win 2 tickets to The Asheville Fire Fighters Association benefit concert featuring Diamond Rio,  Saturday September 27, 8 pm, Asheville Civic Center. Tickets are valued at over $50.00.  Drawing will be Saturday September 20.

Just a reminder the Empty Bowls Dinner is Friday September 26, 5-7:30 at Higgins.  Cost is $25.00.

WE WILL BE CLOSED SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 27.  Sorry for the inconvenience.
