2013 Bodegas Ateca Honoro Vera Rueda

With 2500 acres under vine, since 1916, this is one of the Gil Family Estates. 100% Verdejo from younger vines Pretty orange blossom like floral notes to the green melon and green apple fruit, a note of salty mineral and a mustard like note nuance. A bright zesty wine on the tongue with juicy fruit and a tongue tingly minerality leaving you salivating for food.

 2013 Bodegas Ateca Honoro Vera Garnacha 

Deep, dark aromas of black fruit, both fresh and cooked—blackberry, damson plum, and cherry.  Those same ripe fruits appear on the palate, accompanied by brightening, lifting acidity on a silky frame.  Clean and tasty, this is a real crowd pleaser and a versatile food partner wine.  It can stand up to hearty fare or be enjoyed by itself!
