Lions Club Fund Raiser – Massage with Karen

The Curator White (2015)
Producer A.A.Badenhorst Region Western Cape, South Africa Grapes Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Sémillon. Pale medium yellow. Aromas of lemon candy, stone fruits and flowers lifted by exotic notes of honey, licorice and resin. Fruity and silky, offering honeyed yellow fruit flavors and a fatness from the chardonnay. Finishes with a bit of warmth.

DeMorgenzon, Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé
De Morgenzon is Dutch for “the morning sun,” a fitting name for this boutique property high on the Stellenboschkloof, which is the first to be touched by the rising sun’s rays. De Morgenzon’s high altitude vineyards command sweeping views of Table Mountain and Cape Point, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Embracing the philosophy that a biodiverse and ecologically sensitive environment produces infinitely better grapes, the proprietors have established De Morgenzon as a carefully tended vineyard, where abundant wildflowers flourish between the vines. The vineyards are currently farmed naturally, and the estate is in the process of converting to organic farming.

The Curator Red (2013)
This friendly, medium-bodied red offers pretty notes of red cherry, licorice, damson plum, chocolate, and bay leaf that is framed by a supple yet fresh, finish

Punto Final Malbec
Dark ruby red in color with violet tones, this Malbec has aromas of red currants, blackberries, and plums, with notes of pepper and clove. Flavors of black cherries, red and black currants, and juicy plums fill the mouth with hints of wood spice and vanilla on the finish. Punto Final, meaning “final period” or “full stop,” symbolizes the point at which the Bodega Renacer winemaking team has accomplished their common goal: a truly outstanding wine. Punto Final Malbec expresses the vast potential of Mendoza’s terroir and represents a blend of Malbec grapes from different regions, altitudes, and climates. Grapes for this wine come from vineyards within Perdriel, resulting in a wine that incorporates the best of each unique terroir. The wine is fermented in stainless steel to preserve the wonderful fruit aromas and flavors but aged with just a touch of French oak to add structure and complexity.

Buitenverwachting, Cabernet Sauvignon Beyond
This juicy, medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon offers bright flavors of black currant and plum, with gentle licorice and herbal notes. Beyond is a high quality value brand of single varietal wines. The first bottling created under the Beyond label was a Sauvignon Blanc, crafted by renowned Constantia winery Buitenverwachting. The name of the brand was inspired by the translation of Buitenverwachting, “beyond expectation.” The wines consistently deliver on their promise of going beyond the ordinary.
