Join us for our Friday Evening tasting, ( next to the last one for the year) Phillip from Mutual has selected 5 nice wines that will go well with your holiday meals.
The wine is characterized by floral and fruity nuances: orange blossom, pears, golden apples, pineapple, moss and sage hues. A perfect match for biscuits, non-creamy pastry and fruit, it combines unexpectedly but successfully with fresh cold cuts and fermenting cheeses. Serving temperature: 9-10°C. Actual alcohol: 5.2-5.8 % vol.
Tavernello Pinot Grigio
This Pinot has beautiful apple and sweet pear aromas on the nose and a velvety, perfectly balanced texture. Served well chilled, it can be enjoyed on its own or as the perfect accompaniment to cold meats, light salads and creamy pasta dishes.
This Sangiovese is a vibrant red in color, with violet hues, and an intense nose of red fruits. On the palate it is bursting with fruit flavors of red cherries and blackberries. Perfect with tomato-based dished such as pasta or pizza.
Route 152 Pinot Noir
With vibrant flavors of wild strawberries & raspberries this Pinot Noir is certainly a California, fruit forward classic, with a nice acidity,& subtle earthiness of the finish. As we say “made for drinkin’ not for thinkin’” which is meant to say, this wine is a wonderful, straight shooter sipper, that just so happens to be an exceptional value.
Robert Mondavi NAPA Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark fruits of black cherry, plum and blackberry are layered seamlessly with sweet spice, herbal, dark earth and a touch of sweet tobacco in our 2014 vintage, and accompany the rich concentration, silky tannins and long finish that we look forward to in our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon each year. 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 0.5% Malbec and 0.5% Syrah.
